The two first ladies will be joined by press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders at a briefing that will include questions from the press pool, according to a pool report.
“I think the President and the First Lady have been really thoughtful and really focused,” White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Huckabee Sanders told reporters.
“It’s going to be very interesting to see how this unfolds.
They have been focused on making sure that everyone gets a fair shot and a fair opportunity to ask questions.”
Trump, in his first press briefing as president, will begin his day on Wednesday with a discussion with the media.
He will be flanked by his son Barron and the first lady, Melania, and a small group of reporters.
Trump, a businessman who has repeatedly said he would make America great again, is looking to re-establish himself in his second term as president by focusing on jobs, immigration and health care.
He will be at his first full briefing since the announcement on Feb. 1 and will be asked about the new administration’s new policy to allow families of American citizens with special needs to apply for waivers to enter the country.
Trump has repeatedly denied that he has any special ties to the country and said that he would be “making America great” again.
